Juno Awards Hair and Makeup 2025
I was absolutely thrilled to have the chance to be a part of the Juno Awards in Vancouver this year! It was such a monumental moment for me and my company, as this was our very first time being involved in an award show. The experience was beyond exciting and fulfilling, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with some incredible talent.
One of the highlights was doing hair for Sue Passmore of the Good Lovelies, who won Children’s Album of the Year alongside the legendary Raffi. Sue wanted a high updo with face-framing pieces, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. It felt so special to be part of her celebration, especially considering the significance of that win for both her and the group. The style I created for her seemed to perfectly complement her vibrant personality and the joyful occasion.
Next, I had the honor of styling and doing makeup for the gorgeous Emily, who was nominated for Music Teacher of the Year. What an inspiring person to work with! I loved getting her ready for the event, and it was such a fulfilling experience to see how proud and happy she was on such a monumental day. The entire day was filled with such positive energy, and being a part of that was truly a highlight of my career so far.
The whole event was magical, and the energy in the air was electric. The Juno Awards provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with talented people and be part of something so special. It definitely sparked my passion for working at more award shows, and I’m now hoping to get involved in many more in the future. The glam, the excitement, the opportunity to work with such creative minds—there's nothing like it.
Looking forward, I’m excited for what the future holds and hopeful to be part of more red carpets, celebrations, and special events. It’s such a rewarding experience to help others feel their best on such a big stage, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next!
